ROTATION #1: David: Becoming a Person of Faith |
| During a 4 week Bible study, families will
spend time, together, digging into the life story of David
and his journey from giant-killer to nation-builder. David’s
long life, with its great assortment of stories, provides us
with a perfect example of the roundabout route our faith
journeys sometimes take us. Using a variety of activities,
families will explore how we all have moments of victory,
and moments of defeat in our faith journeys. They will also
have the opportunity to learn a Family Study format they can
use at home. |

ROTATION #2: Lost & Found |
| Using 3 of Jesus’ parables – the Lost Sheep,
the Lost Son and the Lost Coin – the children will explore
what it is to be found by God, no matter how far they may
stray. |

that aims to eradicate poverty and hunger throughout the

#3: The Magi |
|
In keeping with our tradition of exploring the birth of
Jesus from the point of view of various witnesses, this year
we’ll learn about the mysterious strangers from the east who
followed a star and brought gifts for the newborn King of
Kings.
In addition, we will use
November to rehearse for the annual Children’s Christmas
pageant. |

family tradition – the advent wreath. |

| During these 2 weeks we’ll play games, enjoy
special snacks and share the blessings of the season with
each other, and with our community. The children will help
make gift baskets and cards for church members who are
unable to attend worship. |
